Thank you, Officer Sean Bolton, for your service to our great country and for your service to the state of Tennessee and the city of Memphis. Your bravery and dedication will never be forgotten. Your death has infuriated me to the point that I hope they catch this thug soon and he is sent to the head of the line on Tennessee's death row! It was a senseless and inhumane act committed by a low-life coward! My thoughts are prayers are with your family and friends as well as your department and the citizens of Memphis. You are now safe in the arms of Jesus. God Bless you, young man, and Godspeed. You will never be forgotten!

To all officers and employees of the Memphis Police Department, On behalf of the Missouri State Troopers Association, please accept our deepest condolences. This is yet another senseless and cowardly act where the end result was the loss of a great man, fellow officer and a true hero. I know I can speak for every brother and sister in arms when I say that we will not rest until the evil doer is tracked down and brought to justice, and he will be tracked down! May God bless our brothers and sisters in blue in Memphis as well as the Bolton Family.
