Proud that my 6th Great Grandfather has been honored and remembered for his service. I want to thank all the people involved in helping me get his story out, especially my cousin RA and my mother who shared the story of a brave man. Brave men should never be forgotten.
I’m still looking for a picture or likeness of him so it can be added to the memorial.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the 135th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire.

Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty. For all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.

Your efforts on behalf of the public that night were beyond commendable and the swine who killed you did indeed face true justice in this life. It's apparent you were liked in the community for them to react so violently. It was unfortunate that they took matters into their own hands, but, I cannot mourn his passing as I mourn yours.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
