Thank you for your selfless service, dedication to duty, loyalty to the Hayward Police Department and the citizens of Hayward, California, and untimely sacrifice in the line-of-duty! Let us now reflect on your life's accomplishments with family, friends, and colleagues rather than dwelling on the tragic way in which you were shot and killed in the line-of-duty.
