Reflections for Corrections Officer II Timothy A. Davison
- How Did He Live -
Not how did he die, but how did he live
Not what did he gain, but what did he give
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed
But had he befriended those really in need
Was he ever ready, with a word of good cheer
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say
But how many were saddened the day he passed away

As you departed the bonds of this earth and touched the face of God, know that the selfless service, commitment and dedication you had for your family, community, fellow officers and a grateful nation will never be forgotten.

You have served your time in hell, now rest comfortably in the arms of God - We'll take it from here.

Rest in Peace, Officer Davidson. Hopefully the State of Texas will charge the suspect with Capital Murder of a Police Officer and seek the death penalty. This suspect apparently deserves it.

You did a tough job. You helped keep society safe by keeping track of those who harm society. Cops deal with many people from many walks of life and many lifestyles. You dealt with convicted criminals, all he time. For that, you are truly a hero.
There are those who fight for prisoner's rights. Does your murderer deserve all the rights you had? I think not.
God Bless and may you eternally Rest in Peace, Brother.
