Patrolman Scanlon, it's now been 48 years since the incident and your passing as a result. It's a disturbing disgrace what happened and where. We can only hope that those responsible faced true justice, if not in this world, then in the next.
God Bless, Brother and may your eternal rest be forever peaceful.

Officer Scanlon, you were murdered by juveniles. It's simple proof that ANYONE is capable of taking the life of another and people have to remain aware of this and hold all murders fully accountable, regardless of age.
Your courage and sacrifice are honored here. I have no doubt that you rode alongside your son as he patrolled the same streets you did and are proud of both of your sons.
Thank you for your service to the people of the Commonwealth and the nation.
God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be at peace.
