It's become a sad reflection on our society when an officer's death is almost a daily occurrence. This year has been so difficult for the men and women who spend their lives protecting others. As the daughter, niece, and granddaughter of law enforcement officials, my heart hurts for the families. As a dispatcher, it my heart hurts for the co-workers and work family. My prayers for all of you!!

My sincere apologies to Officer Orozco's family, friends and fellow officers. This is an absolute tragedy. That poor baby will never know her mother because of some criminal who could care less about his world. As a fellow sister in law enforcement, I want Officer Orozco's family to know how much of a hero she was and always will be. My heart breaks for her family and all the members of the thin blue line. We have the watch from here...rest easy Officer Kerrie Orozco.
