My heart goes out to the family of Det Orozco. What a terrible thing especially for the children. Her newborn little girl will never get to be held by her mom All because of a thug with a gun. When will this end? Too many law enfoecement officers are being murdered in this country. Too many families being forever changed. Rest in peace, Det Orozco. Thank you for your service.

Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

My prayers are with Detective Orozco's family. Our public servants put their lives on the line each day not knowing when the Lord will need to call them home. Enough thanks cannot be given to them on a daily basis for what they do to protect the public they so willingly serve.

My thoughts and prayers to our Lady in Blue. My thoughts to her family and friends for losing a Knight in Shining Armor. I spent 4 years in a USMS Fugitive Task force and all of us carry on our duties every day to put these bad guys behind bars where they belong. It’s heartbreaking when we lose anyone to these heartless people who care nothing about honor and integrity. RIP, my fellow officer in Blue.

So sorry for your loss. May the Lord wrap his arms around your family and comfort you through this horrific time. I have suffered great loss and do understand. You will never forget, go down the road screaming in your car, cry every day if it helps, it is ok. There is no such thing as closure. You just deal with it on a daily basis. God Bless and Keep you.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
