We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61st anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace

Patrolman Waggoner, you fought the good fight and won. You may have lost your life, but you showed yourself willing and able to fight back against evil. You also won because, unlike your murderer, you no doubt entered Heaven on the fast track whereas, if he ever made it anywhere near Heaven....well, that's doubtful. You are a hero.
God Bless and may you eternally Rest in Peace, Brother.
