It's hard to believe it's been 25 years this year since we first worked together at TCSO and served together in the OKANG my friend. I still miss ya brother and I can see you in my minds eye fresh out on patrol in that old 1988 Caprice.

Greg was my stepfather for a short time. He and my mom had 2 daughters (not sons). One of my sisters were spending the weekend at his house when he passed. He had gone to bed and never woke up. She and her cousin discovered he had passed when they couldn't wake him the next morning. It was ruled an accidental overdose. RIP "daddy Greg".

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past, Your heroism and service is honored today, the seventh anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
