I thank you Deputy Marshal Wells for your great service and sacrifice to our great nation. And I want to thank your family, who supported you in your service. Because of your sacrifices, my family has a safer tomorrow. In these wicked times we live in, it becoming even more dangerous than ever to pick up that badge, to protect and serve. And for that, I hold the men and women in blue with the most respect and honor and regard. I trust your rewards in heaven are great. I know very well about loss. So my heart hurt for those you left behind. But I hope your family knows this separation is but a temporal thing. And that one day you will be joined together again. I admire you because you gave your life in protecting our communities from those predators who would victimize the innocent.
