I know this is late... but you Officer Wilson are my idle. You made the ultimate sacrifice. You kid's birthday was days away. He may not be able to see you again.... but he can say that... "My dad saved a building full of lives. My dad gave his life for others. Man my dad was great." You are a hero, a true man that has inspired people like me. You did the right thing Officer Wilson.

Today a police officer was killed a protector of the peace a guardian against the evil in which lurks in this world. This protector of the peace shall never be forgotten for he is a hero and forever will live in the thoughts and minds of those he protected and loved.
I never quite understood the saying "the good die young" until my father and friends were taken from this world way to soon as was Officer Wilson as he gave his life protecting others not for any other reason than it was the right thing to do.. I thank you for your sacrafice and my heart will be with your family through the difficult times ahead watch over them for i know to well the times they now face

"In the simple performance of duty,
he answered the call
to help the helpless, to find the lost,
no matter the danger or how great the cost.
In the simple performance of duty,
he lay down his life,
for those in peril he tried to save,
our brave friend went to his grave."
Rest in peace Ofc. Wilson. Thank you endlessly for your service.
