To the family of Detective Green and the Fulton County Police family, my heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. Terrance gave his life so others could have peace and not live in fear. I'm so sorry for all of you because this was such a senseless tradedy and a tremendous loss of a good and pure life. Be proud you got to know, love and work with a such a person. THAT BLUE FABRIC THAT IS THE VERY LINE OF OUR PEACE AND SAFETY
Another Peace Officer has been taken from us through a cowardly and violent act. Perhaps he would tell us:
"I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of that blue fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization. I have given my life so that others may live in peace. I have lived my life as a dedicated member of the greatest profession. There is no greater honor.
As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.
You guard the gate now and hold that blue line. I will continue my watch from above."
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN THE GOOD YOU HAVE DONE HERE ON EARTH. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO US ALL.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Officer Terence Avery Green and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever.
To the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Green, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on. Just as you were always with him when he walked the beat or patrolled the streets, know that he will always be with you - wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Officer Green is distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
