Waking up, on your 20th Anniversary, seems like only yesterday! You are one of my greatest heroes!

For those who have mentioned Michael's children, they are doing well! His daughter, ironically, is a cardiac care nurse and his son had been a police officer for a few years, but has moved on to other ventures. Proud of everything they have overcome!

I served with Mike in the Air National Guard, he was an exemplary soldier, friend and Hamilton County Sheriff. He had two children that I never got the honor to meet, but would love to tell that their father was a hero in every sense of the word. He was a fantastic man that I will always hold in my heart as one of the best friends I ever had. May he rest in peace, may his children find peace and learn how wonderful their Dad truly was.

When Mike as not on active duty, he served the citizens of Hamilton County in Cincinnati Ohio. I served with him in the same agency. Mike was a Great street cop, partner, and friend. We were scheduled to be promoted together, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not promoted. The news of his death came as a shock to me. I know that he is looking down upon us and keeping a watchful eye on his family and friends.
Rest in Peace my Brother....
