I couldn’t believe it when I heard. You were one of the people I looked up to the most, and the one I’d always as when I wasn’t sure. We looked out for each other. I loved working shifts when you were working because like I said we were always there for each other. You would always say “I love you brother”. You were there for me, I think about you often and the calls we would back each other up on. I miss you, and I love you brother....I’ll see you again one day.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

I rode in The Wheels of Justice "Heroes" bike ride today in Conroe, Texas. This ride recognizes fallen police officers. Each rider receives a wrist band with the name of a fallen officer. Today I was honored to ride for Roger M. Odell. You may be gone, but you were remembered today in Texas. Thank you for your service.

Praying that the family and friends of Patrolman O'Dell can find comfort of the loving promise from our heavenly father recorded at Revelation 21:3,4 "he will wipe out every tears from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
