I was just a child when this tragic event struck our nation. It is my dream to be a police officer, to follow my fathers footsteps. My heart goes out to chief Bonano's family and brothers and sisters of the New York City Police Department. May god be with all of you. Thank you so much for everything you do to make your community safe and thank you chief Bonano for your dedicated service to your country and community. I ask fellow officers and viewers to look up the poem "angel in blue" if you haven't already, I believe this to be true for officer Bonano.
