The loss of a loved one is never easy and hearing that they died doing what they love or that they are in a better place gives only minimal comfort. Those who are left to mourn will miss fellowship with Timothy everyday for the rest of their lives. The grief will become easier to manage and joy will return in time. God says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted". May the comfort of God rest on the hearts of those who love and miss Harbor Patrol Assistant Timothy Mitchell. Thank you Timothy for your service and willingness to risk your life for others.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Avalon Harbor Patrol. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

I carry your heart with me ( I carry it in
my heart) i am never with out it (anywhere
I go you go Tim) and whatever is done
by only me is your doing Tim)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate Tim) I want
no world ( for beautiful you are my world my true)
And it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
And whatever a sun will always sing is you
Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life which grows
higher then soul can hope or mind can hide)
And this the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart ( I carry it my heart)
