My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Tarpon Springs, FL Police Officer Charles Kondek and to the Tarpon Springs, FL Police Department on this very tragic event that has shaken this great city known for its sponge fishing and Greek cuisine. It will be a very sad Christmas for the family and the city of Tarpon Springs, FL. A day after two New York City Police Officers lose their lives, a police officer in Florida loses his life to gun violence. I share my condlolences at this time with the entire police department and with the family as well. You will be missed by all. Your name will be on the memorials in both Tallahassee and in Washington.
