This is a fine man, i am so sad i have known this man for over 30 years. I believe him to be one of the finest examples of a man i have ever know, kind considerate. I am just sadened by this i know in my heart he tryed everything he could to keep from this accident. We have lost a lot, in loosing this man,,,but i know God has the plan for him, and all of us. He will be missed by many. Responding to a call for assistance is what we do. To lose our life doing what is expected of us is unthinkable. In our hearts we know that dangers await us on any give day, any given call, but we still answer the call of duty. Lord find us favor and put a halt to this senseless killings of dedicated and honorable officers. We as your humble servants can ask no more than this. For Deputy Hart, he is a hero who went above and beyond that call of duty and for this we are truly grateful. God let him take his rightful place beside you forevermore. Parents please make your children responsible drivers before releasing them to the highways. That is our obligation to keeping them safe. Other families lost loved ones in this incident too. One final salute to you Deputy Hart.

Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Deputy Hart,
Rest well in the arms of God.
To Your Family,
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:
“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, family and loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for the past three years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.
Our faith helps us see beyond the grave.

It will be a sad Thanksgiving for the family of a Sheriff's Deputy and for the family of the three teenagers who were riding in the car that killed Deputy Hart. The fourth one is in the hospital with life threatening injuries. Not just a family mourns but the county mourns as well for a deputy who was killed in the line of duty. Another name will be added to the wall in Washington, DC for when they have the names of fallen law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty this year.
