I believe in unions. Unions protect workers from the harsh realities of hostile and unfair work environments. But when it's the union and union thugs who take things too far, it's disgraceful and here was a clear example of what can happen. A law enforcement officer, simply doing his job, was murdered. Thank you for helping to protect one of America's greatest assets, it's railroads.

Though your killer will forever remain unknown, I can only hope he faced true justice, if not in this life, then in the next.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 116th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
