Chief Logan, the fate of your killer may never be known, but I can only hope he faced true justice, if not in this life, then in the next.
The theft of copper is as big a problem today as it ever was so I can fully understand the need for such a united effort to catch the thieves. It is infuriating that you lost your life over the matter. Thank you for helping to protect one of America's greatest assets, it's railroads.
May you forever Rest in Peace, and God Bless you Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 100th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
