Anthony, I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. I still tell young officers your story in the hopes that it’ll save their life one day. I still recall the conversation we had at the range a couple nights before you were taken. I just want you to know that you’re not forgotten. Those of us that knew you remember and celebrate your life, the life you freely gave to the citizens of Rio Rancho!
Loosing you was a tragedy and I will never forget you brother! I’m reminded of why I chose this profession every time I think about you...to relentlessly pursue evil so the people can live their lives without fear!

Hey brother,
You went to work a year ago like any other day, and a couple of hours later you made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the citizens of Rio Rancho. I think about you every time I go code and I tell your story to every young officer I come in contact with. I didn't know you very well and for that I'm sorry. I did get to talk to you a little at the range on Thursday night before you were taken. I honestly believe that you didn't loose your life, you gave it! Keep an eye out for us and watch our for us...till we meet again brother!

Nichole beat me by 1 point in fantasy football (the Anthony Haase FFL) last week bc I played Giants D over Eagles? Also the Cowboys beat DeMarco Murray and my Eagles without Dez in Week 2. Pretty sure Jerry Jones paid the refs. Miss you bud, nobody talks the funny smack like you on gameday. I'll never forget Oct 26
