98 years ago today, my great-grandfather was taken from this earth. He never had the chance to meet my father, his grandson. May he rest in peace, knowing that he is not forgotten.

It's now been 94 years. You did a job that was unpopular enforcing a law that in less that 15 years would be meaningless, and yet it was your job and you did it. You're a hero for standing tall and telling all that, "...this is the law of the land and I will enforce it."
God Bless and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful.

While researching our family tree, my brother discovered this memorial of our great-grandfather. His wife passed away in 1966, at the age of 100.
Thank you for your organization's efforts in remembering and honoring our country's fallen heroes.
My husband retired from the Metropolitan Police Department with twenty-two years of service.
My prayers and heartfelt gratitude to all the families and loved ones of our fallen heroes. God bless you all.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect, not even 92 years.
Rest In Peace
