My son and I saw your memorial bench on the Dutchess Rail Trail yesterday. After reading about you, it was clear that you were loved and as the bench says, "Love never dies." RIP sir. You will not be forgotten.

Mike was truly a great guy...the kind of young man that every parent wants their child to grow up and be. I taught Mike in the police academy. My son was in the same academy and they were very close.
Mike came from a great family.
May he Rest In Peace.

I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Such a short span of career it really hurts more to see a young officer killed. May peace be with you, your family, brothers, sisters and fellow officers who worked with you. You are gone, but you will not be forgotten.
