Began following this story yesterday as soon as it was posted. As a dispatcher who spent the first 13 years of her career in Georgia, all of our training was done in Forsyth. This hits so close to home, and boy does it hurt. I knew reading the accounts last night that the chances were slim, but I prayed and hoped against hopes that Deputy Norris would make it.

To Deputy Norris's brothers and sisters in blue, please be careful out there. Judging by the statistics, open season has been declared on law enforcement officers. Please be vigilant, be overly cautious, and be sure to wear your vest! And when you make it home after your shift, be sure to kiss and hug your loved ones for those brothers and sisters who no longer have that luxury.

God Bless.

Natasha Hubbard (Communications Officer)
North Andover Police Department
