Brother you will never be forgotten! I'm sorry your wife and children have had to endure your senseless murder by a coward. May they always know you died as a sheepdog protecting his sheep.

I unfortunately remember this incident all too well and the frightening reality that even walking out of the back of your “own home base” at the end of a shift or work day can be dangerous. Especially when it is at the hands of a cowardly person and his actions of hiding off in the distance as this coward did. I had the pleasure and privilege of working with numerous amazing men and women from PSP over my time and though I never met you or knew you, you were surely one of those many amazing PSP members I speak of. Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. I remember the night like it was yesterday. I was in Florida when I learned of the ambush. Hearing about it made me physically ill.
Rest In Peace my Brother. You are missed.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Sorry to have read about the passing of Trooper Dickson Obviously this guy was a coward to ambush. He figured this was the only way that he could do this because Trooper Dickson looks very squared way. I am sure he is watching down on all of you. Let us take it from here Brother in Blue.

So tragic that a fine man was killed in such a senseless manner. RIP, brother. You will always be remembered.

So senseless for some one to take a life like this for no reason. Take a daddy from his children and husband from his wife. Sadly Cpl. Dickson's children will be in their 40's when Eric Frien will be executed for his murder.

As a retired trooper and father of a trooper I pray for him and other officers every day.

Best wishes and condolences to Cpl. Dickson's brothers and
sister Troupers and to his family and friends.
I have been retired from the Ontario Provincial Police
in Ontario Canada for 17 years.
The frequency of Police attacks have increased in the recent
months. I fear we will loose many more Brothers and Sisters before these horrendous occurrence's can be rectified. God Bless our fellow officer's and remain vigilant
out there.

I had the honor of speaking to some of your family today. As we talked I mentioned that my husband is in law enforcement and that was when they told me about you. I told them that I knew what happened and I was sorry for their loss. They seemed a little surprised that I knew since we are separated by several states and thousands of miles. I told them that every LEO loss is felt around this country, no matter the distance. They are so proud of what you accomplished in your short time on this earth. We are too. From my Blue family to yours, know that your absence is felt. Thank you will never been enough to express the gratitude we have for your service and for what you have given. We understand your family’s pain and we grieve alongside of them. Please know that we are always here, whether in mind, body, or spirit and we are always praying that God grants your family peace in their hearts. Please continue to watch of your brothers and sisters in blue as they hold that line every day. God speed Sir.
