I had the honor of riding in the Police Unity Tour in 2015 while wearing Tyler's memorial bracelet. I also had the honor of personally giving it to his family at the Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial at the Candlelight Vigil, the night Tyler's name was added to the wall.

He is part of an enormous team of people that keep our families, neighborhoods and country safe from terrorists and drug traffickers. Tyler is an ongoing reminder that God blesses us by giving us hero's in our lives, standing for the deepest sense of duty.

When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.
