Reflections for Jailer Eli Othel Bray

I am pleased to note that the Missouri house Bill no. 2797 will honor my Grandfather E.O. Bray. It was a hard time for my , mother , one of his daughters and family to lose this great man. My grandmother never remarried. Wish I had known him.

I found this article regarding my grand father while searching the internet. Thank you for posting this memorial. My mother was only 5 when her father was killed and my grand mother remained a widow for the rest of her life.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the eighty-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.
