On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Kevin was killed.
To the Jordan family, fellow officers, and all who call Kevin beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.
This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Officer Jordan gave to his community and the citizens of Georgia, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on May 31, 2014.

Officer Jordan,
You have entered the Heavenly Ranks of others who chose to "Protect and Serve" and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
To Your Family,
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:
“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, family and loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for the past three years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.
Our faith helps us see beyond the grave.

May God cradle your family with comfort in this time of loss, and may He carry you throughout the days ahead. I, as a law enforcement officer find sadness of the loss of a fellow comrade. We give our lives to protect ALL mankind, sometimes not completely realizing that those who are near and dear to us ultimately pays the price that we give. Thus we do our job with pride and dignity. I thank you Officer Jordan for your service. May your soul be at peace.

Officer Jordan, isn't is mind boggling what people will kill over? A trio of idiots with one especially obstinate one who just pushed enough to be arrested and her scumbag companion KILLS you over it! A disorderly conduct charge! I am so grateful to your brother for shooting the man and potentially saving more lives. It is so sad and infuriating that you still died no matter the reason, but THIS?
Officer Jordan, the impact this will have on your brother cannot be known, but I pray for him and hope he can come to grips with this event and know, he did all he could do and that was a lot. You are a hero, but so is he.
May he also be instrumental in helping your seven children. They were robbed of a father and will need to be reminded always of who you were and what you stood for.
God Bless and may you forever, Rest in Peace, Brother.
