A horrid loss for all law enforcement but much worse for Franklin County. My thoughts and prayers are with your father and all who know and love you best. We'll see if that driver you tried to catch can live with what he has caused.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

We mourn the loss of this honorable man, our brother in the law enforcement family. He made this world better not by sitting back and complaining, but by the deeds he performed, the kind words he spoke, the lessons that he taught, and the example that he was. May his soul rest in peace with God. Thank you, Deputy Thomas, for your service and sacrifice.

Deputy Thomas was a good man, I wasnt as close to him as some of my coworkers were, but in the time i knew him he was always kind and professional. I was an explorer with Jackson County Sheriffs while he was there. Now that I am a sworn officer this hits even closer to home. Deputy Thomas was a brother to many and a servant of his community. My prayers are with the Franklin and Jackson County Sheriff's Offices as well as the Thomas family. RIP Brother.
