Thank you for your service Officer Arkell. May The Lord watch over your family, coworkers and friends.

Rest In Peace Patrolman Arkell. You have served your time in hell, now you get to reap the rewards. You get to patrol the streets of heaven. Where the horror's that you seen on earth are but a distant memory. Everything is pristine, dispatch is never busy, and the squads are in top shape. The Jail never needs staffing, and guns are not needed. We take solace in knowing that you are watching over us, and that with each new rookie you will be there by their side watching over them, giving them that gut feeling that non of us can explain. Stand Down Patrolman, the Chief in the sky has your new assignment, you are to report there post haste. We have your watch now. Keep us safe.

The video on TV was incredible. My thanks and prayers are with the officers who tried to save you. Their valiant efforts were not in vain simply because it didn't save your life. It was heroic.
You were heroic as well. A lunatic took your life and it's the community, the Brentwood Police and most especially those who know and love you most who suffer the loss. You died a hero primarily because you LIVED a hero. So long as you are kept firmly in the hearts and minds of those you have left behind, you will never truly be gone.
God Bless and may you forever, Rest in Peace, Brother.
