Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Trooper Chelsea Renee Richard

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Chelsea was killed.

To the Richard family, fellow troopers, and all who call Chelsea beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Trooper Richard gave to her community and the citizens of Florida, and for the supreme sacrifice she and her family made on May 3, 2014.

To all,
Thank you for the reflections for Trooper Chelsea Richard. I spoke will her future husband, one of my former supervisors, Jamie Mulverhill, today and he is strong.
Again, if your time comes to step up for a fellow officer, do not hesitate to do what is required. Remove the uniform insignia, the gunbelt, and don't forget to check the shirt pockets for debit cards and lunch money.
I pray that no one nationwide has to do this.
Take care of each other.;
Hang tough,
Scott.
