You were and will always be one of us sister! You were taken way to soon! God takes the good ones early and without a doubt he needed a good one to take the watch over the streets of heaven. We are gonna miss you and will never forget you. Rest easy my sister for your watch here is over. We will take it from here!

My daughter is also a Florida State Trooper. As a Father, I can only imagine the pain Trooper Richard's family is feeling but know the reality of the fear this job places in me each day my daughter works. Every conversation we have ends with a, "Be careful out there and I love you."
I pray that I never go through what you are right now, but I know that you will find comfort in God's love if you let it and though your hearts will always be heavy, you will make it. Prayers toyou and yours.

A police officer should be remembered not by how she died, but how she lived! A great woman has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Florida Highway Patrol. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Sister
