Chelsea was like a zone partner to me (and a great one at that!). I work in Sumter, which was one of her counties. We talked many nights about life and family. She loved her little boy, and always tasked about him. Don't let her stature fool you, she was a pistol and didn't take anything from anyone! I miss you girl! You were a great friend, partner, and person!

Although I did not know Chelsea, I knew her father well as I worked for him. From the previously read reflections, I can see she - like her father - was highly motivated, extremely dedicated, deeply appreciated, and 100% on point at all times. My heartfelt condolences to Bruce and the rest of the family and to the FHP for the unrecoverable loss of a true hero.

Trooper Richard,
You have joined the Heavenly ranks of others who chose to "Protect and Serve". Rest well in the arms of God.
To Your Family,
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for over three years. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.
Our faith helps us to see beyond the grave.
