MA2 Mark Mayo, Though your physical being is now gone from earth, you as a son, a friend, a ship mate, A Master-at-Arms, an American, will never be forgotten. You wore the uniform, the badge and stood the watch as a professional, and responded to the call. You have given the ultimate sacrfice for what we serve for, and how we serve our fellow citizens and our nation. To Mark's mother; I give to you my condolences for your loss, I'm so sorry. But know that you have our support and love to give to you in the most difficult time as a parent, there are "no words", that is part of the tragedy.
