I am the widow of a Navy submarine sailor who served during Vietnam and stationed at Pearl Harbor Subase, HI. After reading about the lost of this sailor, I had to respond. I have tears now. I am praying for his shipmates and his family.

I hope it goes on his record he died a hero. He deserves something or his heroic efforts. It is obvious the civilian was on a suicide mission. RIP Petty Officer, you did good.
