We, the citizens of the United States, are grateful for the many years of service given by Officer James Morrissy. May he be remembered by one and all with cherished memories. Thanks to Officer Morrissy for standing in the Thin Blue Line, and a wish to his family for comfort in this difficult time.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Oak Forest Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.
