My father who I never met. He died April 15. I was born April 12. Sad story. Mom never got over him. She spoke of our father and how the sheriff dept didn't give her his death or pension benefits due to mix up. Said he was not a sworn sheriff. He was. 57 years later, he is now honored as a sheriff. Oh,I am sorry? How could this happen? Tell my mom. Oh yea, you can't. She died in 2001. Bitter, yes. I would like to thank the officer that uncovered this with all my heart. You are a wonderful person. Holding back tears as i am writing. Is there any other family out there? Did he have brothers or sisters?
