Reflections for Police Officer Eldridge C. Cornelius
No passage of time can ever erase your service or the sacrifice you made. Rest in peace always. To your great grandson who left a recent reflection, know that your great grandfather's LE brethren will never forget him.

I am Eldridge Cornelius’s great grandson. My mother is his granddaughter and never knew him because he was killed three years before she was born. Her father, H.G. Cornelius, was the oldest of the children and was 33 when his father was killed in the line of duty. We are approaching the 91st anniversary of this tragedy and I’m leaving this reflection to honor him for his service and love for his family and community. I have a family picture of him I can email to odmp if you would like to post. Thank you for honoring and remembering my great grandfather.
