May Tom Smith Rest in Peace.

We pray for his family and friends as well as the other involved officer. Each year, many officers die in car crashes and other accidents. Any death on duty is tragic and felt by the thin blue line across America and the entire world.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Officer Tom Smith. My husband, Marvin Elliott, served a total of 42 years protecting and serving the City of Temple, Texas Police Dept. (37 years) and before that with the Victoria, Texas Police Dept. (5 years). I was not with him the entire time but I thank God that he got to come home to me everyday. My heart breaks every time I hear of a tragedy like this and I pray to God for the families that have suffered loss like this. God bless all who wear the badge.
