I did not know this man but I empathize with what your family are going through. I was an Officers daughter, but am fortunate to still have the dear man with me. It is a different life that we lead and is always fraught with danger and worries for our loved ones. May the Good Lord Bless you in your time of need. My favorite saying is "Footsteps". It has guided me for over 60 years.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Puerto Rico Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Vaya con Dios, Rest in Peace Brother.
