Reflections for Police Officer Jon Steven Coutchie
Jon, you were a great officer, an adventurer, a real go getter. I will always remember the guidance and advice you gave me after our academy days. I will miss you, Laguna Beach has lost a great man but I know you will be standing guard at the pearly gates wearing that badge and flashing that smile. Thank you for your service and being my friend and mentor.

Jon, I Met you when you were fresh out of High School. you came to work at Lew Webbs Nissan. You had this outlook on life that was so fresh and friendly. Everybody said you were the nicest guy and i got believe that still held true to the day that you were taken from us. I lost track of you but thought of you often for your kind heart.
It is such a shame that good men (great men) like yourself are taken from us early. I will always remember your smile and your attitude towards life. I pray that your family is taken care of in your absence. I pray that you are resting now and watching over us with great pride like you had at your work with the Laguna Beach Police Department. God bless you buddy i hope to meet you again someday.

Jon went to school with our sons and we spent so much time with him and Tara as well. What a wonderful man! This is a huge loss for Laguna PD and the community in general.
