I started at the Carthage Police Dept, in 1998 shortly before Van and worked with him until moving in Dec. 2010. He was a great friend and Officer. He will be missed by many that have grown to love him in Carthage. Van is now continuing his patrol on streets of gold and has a watchful eye on us all. Please pray for this family and this department. It was my honor to have worked beside Van. RIP Van Perry (my Brother in Blue)!!

A heart attack is a natural experience..... a 'suspect' that has been arrested by that same officer that seeks help for that man is not. I wish you both well. Godspeed to Corp. Perry- we've got it from here.
