Reflections for Police Officer I Jason L. Schneider

Hey bud. Hard men shed tears over that morning to this day. You were better than all of us. The original guys will always carry that op with us. Your memory lives on. The team lives on.

Thanks for everything.

Officer Schneider,
On today, the 10th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the USMC. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Hey Bud. Been 10 years, cannot believe it. Most days I still revisit that morning, and I still see everything. It was an honor to be there with you.

Brandon is a man now, and he’s gonna be fine.

Team is ok, but you know there will always be a vacancy.

Rest easy. You will never be forgotten.

Hey Bud,

You’d be proud, team is the best its ever been. Cutting edge, good dudes, cohesion, man I wish you could see the progression from back then ….. but as good as it is, there will always be a vacancy. We paid you a visit the other day, never gets easier. Its such an honor to have served with you on that day, its burned in our memories forever. Not a day goes by….til Valhalla.

I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Your watch is over now and others shall do your duties and remember your heroism. Thank you for laying your life on the line to save the citizens. I am so very sorry your family has to endure your loss so early in their lives. May they find peace in knowing that they will hold you again in their arms!

May your family find peace after 20 years of heart ache and sorrow. My brother (Michael Corey McInnis of San Antonio ,TX PD)was killed on the exact same day and I still cannot get over the fact he is gone. Pain never goes away.

God bless....

Miss you Jay. Had a conversation with someone the other day about when you'd take me to SWAT school so I could be the bad guy. I know you're keeping me safe every time I strap my vest on. Save a seat for me up there man.

Mata and I were with NYPD yesterday. Things are getting pretty crazy on the street. You are getting way too much company up there. Keep an eye on the new guys. As always, I know you have our 6. I miss you Brother.

Thinking of you today on the anniversary of your death. I know that you are watching over us all from above. I hold your family in my thoughts and prayers. Tonight, I am attending the Orioles game and I have been trying to get someone there to post a tribute on the video screen before the game....fingers crossed. People need to be reminded of the good ones. Take care-

While we have never met Jason or his family, we just found out his grandfather lives on the street behind us. As survivors, our hearts break for his family and department. As a parent, we know how difficult it is to lose a child and the long road a head of them. We pick up a few items for his grandfather at Police Week as a remembrance of Jason and hopefully we will be able to help him as he grieves for the loss of his grandson.

Thank you for you service.

Looked up today at the picture of you in my wedding party/ groomsmen on the wall in my house. Seeing all the Mindi Drive boys together put a tearful smile on my face. Best friends I ever had, and I miss you very much my friend.
