To my brothers & sisters in Texas & the loved ones of Sgt. Garcia,
I am sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter that I did not know "JL" personally. When the law enforcement community loses one of its own, we are all saddened. We are all one family with a bond that cannot be described to outsiders. May he rest knowing that he dedicated many years of his life to a great cause and may you forever be proud of the contribution he made to keeping our country safe.
