God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain; but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.

For Police Officer Ivorie Klussman:
Any death involving a law-officer that occurs is felt as a tremor through the ranks. But, when the officer is among the latest to join our ranks we feel the hit more directly to our hearts. And, it so easily could have been one of us when first dawning the uniform. We regret that our brother Ivorie would be the next law-officer to forfeit his life not only serving the public, but expediting to back-up a fellow officer.
We pray for Ivorie's family, friends, co-workers, and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Officer Ivorie Klussman, a soldier-of-law, a final salute.

I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of the fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization. I have given my life so that others may live in peace. I have lived my life as a dedicated member of the greatest profession. There is no greater honor.
As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.
You guard the gate now and I will continue my watch from above.
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN THE GOOD YOU HAVE DONE HERE ON EARTH.

As a brother in Law Enforcement there is nothing more sad than having to lose a fellow officer. When we lose one officer in the 'Line of Duty' not only the department loses an officer...The Nation's Defense is weakened by one.
