I did not get the opportunity to meet Dorelle in person, but I am her brother Charles wife. I heard soooo many wonderful things about Dorelle and she raised my husband to be a wonderful person. My husband and I were just in Chicago on 3/6 and saw a poster board with Dorelle's picture on it and we were deeply moved. I wish I had gotton the opportunity to know Dorelle. The whole family is very proud of her and will always keep her in our thoughts.
WE LOVE YOU DORELLE!!

I did not know Officer Brandon but I remember when she died. I was a high school student and was very moved by what happened. Her sacrifice inspired me to pursue a career in Law Enforcement and I patrol the streets in her honor. My prayers go out to her family and I will never forget her selfless sacrifice. She was a true hero.
