Reflections for Police Officer William Jason Sprague
After reading this article I felt as if too many Officers die each year from any cause but for someone to take off just shows how much of a coward they are. Thoughts and prayers go to this officer's family

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Officer Sprague,
I went to your funeral. I had only been working for a few months when you were killed. My patrol Sgt met you while you two were working in Joplin, MO after the tornado hit it. He had nothing but good things to say about you, to include the fact that you were hilarious. I appreciate your service, and I think about you and pray that your wife and son are doing well often.

It has taken me a long time to find the strength to write this. I knew Jason before he came to Pine Bluff Police Department. When he was with EASI medics he was also a SWAT medic for Pine Bluff. This is how I met Jason. After Jason came to the department he joined SWAT. As any SWAT member knows, the comradery you build with your team members lasts forever. These people become like no other family member. Jason will always be remembered, missed and loved. My heart goes out to Jason's family for their loss. He was an awesome person to know. I miss you brother.

I miss you brother. It's been a month now and I miss you every day. I miss your smile that was always there even when you weren't in the best of moods. I miss all of your jokes and the way you could take any song and make what ever words you want work in it. I miss you at rollcall and you giving me crap about being late when I am only 10 minutes early. You really taught me a lot about being an officer and for that I thank you.
RIP coworker, friend, brother.
I miss you.
