A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

This small community of law enforcement special operations is just got smaller with the loss of these two brothers. We must close ranks and continue to be prepared to respond when called, even in sorrow. That's what the American public expects and deserves.

The old phrase "if you bleed some in training you'll bleed a lot less in battle" is true. You train as you'll fight. That's dangerous but necessary. These agents were elite warriors, their death in training is tragic. The rest of the team will go on, but with a big hole. For the rest of the team, Carry On - Honor the Memory of those fallen before us. Heavy hearts will lighten with time.

Lord, I ask for courage
Courage to face and conquer my own fears
Courage to take me where others will not go
I ask for strength
Strength of body to protect others
And strength of spirit to lead others
I ask for dedication
Dedication to my job, to do it well
Dedication to my community to keep it safe
And, please, Lord, through it all, be by my side
