Never forgotten, my Brother.

My brother Tim, its been almost 10 years since your passing. The whole family still remembers you as if it was just yesterday! I remember the last time I talked to you and we talked about your retirement. If I knew that was the last time I would talk to you, I would have told you to take the next day off. However, someone or someone up high had a need for your services. I hope you are doing your best where you are and remember when I retire here, you also retire with me! Officer Tim Huffman you are not forgotten!! rest in peace 5430, your twin brother Warren!

I miss you, Tim. You’d have been retired by now and I think about that when I drive past the location you were killed. I remember talking to you about retirement and some of the other conversations we had. We had many and I wish we could have had more. Thanks again for handling things on the side of the mountain.

You would be so proud of the kids. They have grown so much and all have your servants heart. Each one strives to be just like you. It is amazing to watch them achieve greatness. We miss you so much, brother, but we know you are there watching over us.

I worked with Tim on his first days working in Yuma. We were in the same squad and lived in the same apartment building. You always worked your hardest and rarely saw you in a bad mood. You gave your all up until the last. I worked your last day of work as well. I helped work your accident scene and it broke my heart. I speak of you often to the new Troopers I help to teach. I know you fought until the last breath like you promised me several months prior. You have my eternal respect. You are not forgotten. AZDPS honor guard rifle #6. Your name is forever in our heart.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

I was searching my contacts to make Christmas calls and found your name/number. Your family misses you. We only met one time, during Annette's funeral, but you were a dynamic, animated, charismatic man. Rest In Peace Brother.

It took me two years to work up the courage to view your ODMP page Timmy. I think of you and your smile every day and that makes me smile. I am honored to call you my friend. I have been blessed to meet your family, they are wonderful. I wish I could have done more. I testified last week. One of the hardest things I've had to do, but I know you were with me giving me courage.

I didn't know you but it sure feels like it, your services were beautiful and I wish I read these reflections often. I only wish I would've left one sooner. Please keep an eye on David while he's out there on the highway. He sure misses you.

I can still hear you singing this....

It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday it seems we're wasting away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I'd drive all night just to get back home

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
Wanted dead or alive

Sometimes I sleep, sometimes it's not for days
And the people I meet always go their separate ways
Sometimes you tell the day
By the bottle that you drink
And times when you're alone all you do is think

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
Wanted (wanted) dead or alive

Oh! And I ride!

I'm A cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) Dead or alive

Now I walk these streets, this six string in my hand
Still playin' for keeps, 'same old me same old band,
I been everywhere, and I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces (seen an awful lot of faces)

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive, dead or alive
