Being able to work with Jerry for the past year, I learned he was an amazing man. Jerry is one man that was never negative. He was a man that told almost anyone he came in contact with "God Bless You".....He always told his fellow officers to be safe before they would leave the police station. If you would use profanity around him, you would give an I'm sorry look. A man who always asked "what's wrong" or "do you need anything". In a profession where it's hard, he was a Police Officer who was dedicated to his faith and helping others. Our department will miss Jerry dearly and that void will always remain. "God Bless You, Big Brother"

Jerry was a good officer and someone I considered a friend. I'm just a lowly security guard for our local grocery store and for our town mall. Jerry would always make it a point to stop by and check on any of us when he was on duty to make sure we were alright and everything was quiet. We struck up a good relationship and would chat for awhile when ever I was on duty. Always made me feel safer knowing he was on patrol. You will be sadly missed my friend. Condolences to his wife and family.
